New York, 21 May 2013 - Music executive, composer, and artist Chris Munger has expanded his relationship with BMG Chrysalis US. Along with his band My World, Munger has signed a co-publishing agreement with BMG Chrysalis and will support the company as a consultant going forward. In this role, Munger will continue to bring AV opportunities for film and TV projects and scout new talent for BMG’s growing roster.
Munger’s work experience includes music supervision positions at Warner Chappell Music and Comedy Central, as well as projects for clients such as NBC, TV One, MTV, MSG, Gravity Games, Corona, the NHL and Versus.
My World is a NYC-based indie-rock trio known for mixing original compositions and obscure cover tunes with musical antics that has worked with Public Enemy and Run DMC; they recently released the album All Shapes and Sizes. The band has composed themes for Comedy Central, MSG, Fuse, VH1 and Versus. Currently their music can be heard as the theme song for Comedy Central’s TV show The Half Hour.
“My World is very fortunate to have experienced many memorable moments in the entertainment world and to have developed great friendships and working relationships with some of the best minds in the business,” said Munger. “It has been an honor to work with Keith Hauprich and the entire BMG family. We never thought we’d make it to the Super Bowl. Now we’re going to Disneyland.”

“Chris and My World band members are ambitious musicians who inject their cutting-edge rock sound into every project they touch,” said Keith Hauprich, Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs & A/V Business Development at BMG Chrysalis US. “With the band joining the BMG family, we are pleased to maximize opportunities for their talent to be brought to a broader audience.”
